In just a few simple steps, we explain the purchase process for a Elysia Retirement Home. Transparent, safe, and easy to understand,

1. Selection & Reservation

You choose your desired property in Cyprus. With a small reservation fee, you secure the property, ensuring it is blocked for other buyers.

2. Purchase Agreement & Legal Review

An independent Cypriot lawyer reviews all ownership documents (e.g., land registry extract, building permit, proof of no encumbrances) and prepares the purchase agreement. This ensures that everything is handled transparently and in full legal compliance.

3. Contract Signing & Down Payment

After the review, the purchase agreement is signed in the presence of a Cypriot lawyer or notary. You then make the agreed down payment (often 10–30% of the purchase price). This secures the purchase legally and bindingly.

4. Construction Progress & Scheduled Payments (for new builds)

While your house or apartment is being built, you make the agreed instalments according to the construction progress. You will receive regular updates and can follow the development step by step.

5. Handover & Registration in the Cypriot Land Registry

Once construction is completed, the handover takes place. Your lawyer arranges for registration in the Cypriot Land Registry, officially securing you as the legal owner.

6. Move In & Enjoy

Now it’s time to move in, settle down, and enjoy your new home in Cyprus. If you wish, we can also support you with additional services for comfortable living on the island.
